Bruin Consulting was founded with the mission of helping undergraduates succeed in careers in business?We boast a diverse membership across North and South Campus and help students of all majors reach their maximum potential through educational workshops, networking with peers and recruiters, interview preparation, and mentorship. It can be tough to navigate through the masses at UCLA, but we’re here to help each other excel on campus and beyond the classroom.
How does Bruin Consulting operate?
Bruin Consulting is composed of two membership bodies: the general membership and the Executive Board. You can call yourself a general member if you’ve attended our events, such as workshops, info sessions, or case competitions. For those who are willing to take to the challenge of leading an organization, the next level of membership is joining the Executive Board. Lead by a president and vice president, 8-12 top students from diverse disciplines comprise the BC Executive Board and operate the campuswide organization through roles in marketing, event planning, finance, and technology.

Serving on the BC Executive Board is a rewarding opportunity to build relevant professional skills and implement innovative ideas in leadership. Board members gain the unique experiences of corresponding with top consulting firms, coordinating competition, and mentoring other students. More importantly, the BC Executive Board will enable you to join a community that includes some of the most driven and motivated students on campus; we pride ourselves on the tight-knit culture of our organization.
How do I join the Executive Board? What positions are open?
In general, most students being considered for BC Executive Board undergo a 1-quarter period as an intern before being given a specific board position. If you are interested in a particular role, please state your preference in your application and we will work together to find the most agreeable fit.
