Competitor's Homepage: Fall 2009 Green Energy Case Competition
Congratulations on your acceptance to Bruin Consulting's annual case competition!
You will have the chance to be trained in case analysis by consultants, learn about green energy and power procurement from Southern California Edison, network with 15 representatives from top industry and consulting firms, and win raffle prizes. The winning team will be awarded with an exclusive dinner with the judges of the competition and an indoor skydiving experience at iFly Hollywood!

- NEW: During the 36 hours, passive use of the internet is allowed; active use, like seeking live help, is not allowed.
- Firms judging will include: ZS Associates, Southern California Edison, Da Vita Inc., Accenture. Deloitte S&O and Southern California Edison will lead the case prep workshop.
- The case preparation workshop on Thurdsay Nov 12th is from 6:30-8:30 pm in Boelter 5249. A majority of members on each team will attend.
- All teams must check in between 8:30 and 9 am on Saturday November 14th.
- All teams are REQUIRED to stay until the end of the competition's award ceremony, taking place at 5pm, whether or not they present during final rounds.
- The winning team will be treated to dinner with the judges at Napa Valley Grill in Westwood from 5:30-7pm.
- The case is not the same as the application prompt.
- Each team's preliminary round 14 minute presentation will be followed by a 5-10 minute Q and A session. After the preliminary round, each team will be given feedback. 3 finalist teams will then have time to incoporate feedback; they will then deliver their presentation to all competitors and all judges (14 min presentation, 5-10 minute Q and A).
- The winning team will receive an exclusive dinner with the judges and other prizes.
- Only 9 teams were accepted this year; this year was competitive as it had half the slots of last year's healthcare case competition.
- Each team will have access to a laptop and projector for their PPT presentations. No other visual materials are allowed.
- Teams must email their presentations to bc.casecompetition@gmail.com by 9AM on Saturday AND bring their presentations to the competition on a USB stick.
