Robert Chang is a Computer Science and Business Economics double major. He enjoys traveling abroad and spent the summer of 2010 in Shanghai China, where he studied the cultural significance of the World Expo. In 2011 he began working with the private equity start up Investment 31. Outside of Bruin Consulting he is a staff writer for the Bruin Business Review, swims with the UCLA club team, and is a member of the Phi Kappa Psi fraternity.

About Jason

Jason is a fourth-year Business Econmics major, Accounting minor at the UCLA. During the summer of 2010, he interned as a BOLD intern at Google in the People Technology Operations team, where he piloted a Document Management System migration and analyzed company-wide peer bonus trends. During the school year, he works for ASCUCLA Marketing as a web developer and operates a free-lance design firm at www.jasonkwok.com. In his free time, he designs for a small apparel company and starts various projects.

About Daren

Daren Endy is a second year Business Economics major at UCLA. During the summer of 2010, Daren interned at the global investment firm Oppenheimer & Co. in its Asset Management division in Los Angeles. As part of his daily duties, Daren managed client accounts and shadowed some of California’s top wealth management advisors. Last August, Daren took a class on Entrepreneurship and Global Leadership in China as part of the collaborative program between London School of Economics and Peking University. Besides his passion for business, Daren is also an accomplished pianist and in his free time enjoys playing tennis, working out, and trying out new food.

About Denise

Denise Jin will graduate from UCLA in 2012 with a degree in Business Economics. Born in Nanjing, China and raised in Washington D.C., she developed an early interest in business within a global context and her interest in social entrepreneurship has inspired her to travel and volunteer in developing countries such as Ghana and Mali. Aside from serving as Director of Firm Relations for Bruin Consulting, Denise works as a marketing and new media consultant for small businesses in the Los Angeles area. In her free time, she enjoys yoga, Barefoot Contessa recipes, and adventure travel.

About Aditya

Aditya Gulati is a second year Business Economics and Applied Mathematics double major. In his previous year, he has had a finance internship with Playworks Education Energized and a marketing internship with UCLA Athletics. Along with Bruin Consulting, he is involved with Project RISHI (Rural India Social and Health Improvement) and UCLA Nashaa, a nationally renowned Bollywood dance team. In his spare time Adi enjoys traveling, playing basketball, and going on adventures.

About Sahil

Sahil Punamia is a Business Economics major and Computer Science, Political Science, and Accounting minor at UCLA. In summer of 2010, he worked at an HR firm as a sales and marketing intern where he managed the transition of a CRM database to a cloud-computing based system. In addition to Bruin Consulting, he is involved with the Undergraduate Business Society, as well as being a founding father of the campus’ first entrepreneurial fraternity, Sigma Eta Pi. He is currently working at Evergreen Pacific Partners as a financial analyst, where he is engaged in various stages of the LBO process. In his free time, he enjoys traveling, hanging out with friends, and working on his start-up film production company.

Michael Carder

Michael Carder is an Economics major and Human Complex Systems minor at UCLA. During the summer of 2010, he interned in Los Angeles at UBS Financial Services where he assisted CFA’s in the strategic development of emerging markets investments around the globe. Michael also actively participates on UCLA's Model United Nations Travel Team, where he competes in conferences at North American Universities such as Georgetown and McGill. Outside of his academic and professional endeavors, Michael continues his lifelong passion for hockey by serving as both Assistant Captain and President of the UCLA Ice Hockey team. In his free time, he enjoys traveling to new places, meeting interesting people, and almost anything sports related.

Melanie Gin

Melanie Gin is an Economics major graduating in June 2012. This past summer, she interned within the Strategy and Operations practice of Deloitte Consulting, where she worked to develop standard metrics and reporting processes for a $5+ billion financial services client. During her sophomore year, Melanie worked at Evergreen Pacific Partners, a mid-size private equity firm, where she gained familiarity with LBO modeling and the buy-side process. Outside of Bruin Consulting, she teaches personal finance to high school students as a Director for LA Moneythink, and is an active member of Alpha Kappa Psi, an international business fraternity.

Sinthuja Nagalingam

Sinthuja will graduate from UCLA in 2012 with a double major in Business Economics and Political Science. In addition to serving as Director of Campus Relations, Sinthuja is involved in the Undergraduate Student Association Judicial Board and Project Literacy, a community service organization. In her free time, Sinthuja enjoys traveling, photography and pinterest.

Nairi Khachatoorian

Nairi is a second year Economics major and Political Science minor at UCLA. During the summer of 2010, she interned at the Judge Joe Brown television court show, where she sorted potential cases, briefed litigants, and assisted on set. In the summer of 2009, she interned at AXA Advisors, where she conducted wealth management and insurance research to suggest plans best suited for clients. Nairi also plays volleyball and participates in international competitions such as the Pan Armenian Games in Yerevan, Armenia during the summer of 2011. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, going to the beach, hiking, and going out with friends.
